AJHS athletes stand out at N.O. Relays

Strong showings in unscored events at the North Olmsted Relays placed the Amherst Junior High Comets in the top three in several track and field events.

Top three relays for the girls were:

• The shuttle hurdle relay of Hannah Aschemeier, Macy Dimacchia, Logan Raymond, and Courtney Schneider, who placed third.

• The 4×200 relay team of Victoria Bailey, Tori Kubasak, Kylie Olney, and Chaley Younkin, who placed third.

• The 4×100 relay team of Macy Dimacchia, Logan Raymond, Sydney Schaeffer, and Chaley Younkin, who placed second.

• The 4×400 relay team of Victoria Baily, Leah Drost, Kaylee Haff, and Tori Kubasak, who also placed third.

Top three relays for the boys were:

• The distance medley relay of Ethan London, Logan Kelling, Caleb Stempowski, and Matthew Kirsch, who took third.

• The discus relay of Clay Carpenter and Joey Haas, who took third.

• The 4×800 meter relay of Ethan Barns, Gabe Del Valle, Ethan London, and Mathew Kirsch, who took third.

• The 4×200 meter relay team of Diamond Austin, Dominic Deshuk, and Tyler Younkin, who took second.

• The shuttle hurdle relay team of Vinny Dellipoala, Eli Palmer, Christian Pfeiffer, and Domonic Deschuk, who took first place.

• The 4×100 meter relay team of Diamond Austin, Camden Shamblin, Tyler Younkin, and Dominic Deshuk, who took first.
