Jimmy Schill and Jonathan West each had three-yard touchdown runs in the fourth quarter Friday to put a cap on Amherst’s 55-13 win over Midview. But true to form this season, the real story of the game was Khennedy Scagliozzo. Sure, the Middies got on the board first — but then the senior rushing phenom went on a six-touchdown tear, leaving blue-clad defenders in his dust. Scagliozzo scored on 20- and six-yard runs in the first quarter, then struck on short red zone pushes to send the Comets into the locker room up 28-7 at the half. He returned the Middies’ kickoff to start the third quarter for 92 yards and another TD, then four minutes later bulled in to score again from seven yards out. This Friday, Amherst is at home again to host Berea-Midpark. The Titans are 3-1.
