A seven-yard touchdown run by Danny Makruski early in the first quarter Friday set the tone for a 38-9 Comets win over North Ridgeville in Southwestern Conference play. Khennedy Scagliozzo rushed for four more — three, nine, 16, and 11 yard TDs — while Erik Henderson put a 31-yarder through the uprights to cap Amherst’s excellent night. The Comets remain undefeated at 3-0 heading into this week’s match-up against the Middies at Mercy Health Stadium, Amherst Steele High School. Midview is sitting at 0-3 on the season after 33-27 to North Olmsted.
