Thanks to all who made spirits bright

To the editor:

I would just like to thank everyone so much for helping us with the Majkut family Christmas drive, “Making Spirits Bright.” We could not have done it without you.

We were able to get cash, check, food, family outings, restaurant gift cards, store gift cards, toys, clothes, diapers, wipes, a Christmas tree, ornaments, and several other items. Tears of joy and sorrow for all the emotions that were felt those few hours spent together will always be remembered. ‘Tis the season for giving back and I believe that is what the community did. I never knew this family before I started this, but nowI am thankful to call them “family.”
