When the music started flowing, people got up and boogied Saturday at Amherst’s 15th Annual Dancing on Main Street block party downtown. A light rain early in the evening sent the crowd scrambling under awnings and doorways, but soon the bash was back in full swing as the Roadhouse Band and the Current Vibe rocked the corner of Church and Park. There was plenty of beer to go around, plus gyros, burgers, corndogs, a cornhole tournament, side acts, bounce houses for children, a dunking booth, and more. Area churches handed out water and led kids’ activities, while the Amherst Browns Backers club sold T-shirts and swore up and down this is Cleveland’s year. Enjoy these photos from the event!
