POLICE REPORTS


• Aug. 9 at 2:11 a.m.: Bruce Herron, 43, of Elyria, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, weaving, and open container. He was stopped in the area of Cleveland Avenue and Washington Street.

• Aug. 9 at 7:56 p.m.: Gerald Miller, 46, of Cleveland, was cited for child support suspension.

• Aug. 11 at 12:47 p.m.: A suspected attempted burglary complaint was lodged on Coventry Place.

• Aug. 11 at 6:10 p.m.: A woman reported her cell phone stolen while at Giant Eagle.

• Aug. 13 at 6:27 p.m.: Bar Cricks, 57, of Elyria, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a tax revenue charge.

• Aug. 14 at 1:47 a.m.: Brittany Pietsch, 20, of Amherst, was charged with possession of cocaine, underage consumption, possession of marijuana, and two counts of drug paraphernalia.

• Aug. 14 at 1 p.m.: A woman filed a telecommunications harassment complaint against a man, who agreed to make no further contact.

• Aug. 14 at 4:23 p.m.: Jarrod Riddell, 34, of Amherst, was arrested on a bench warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on an original charge of disorderly conduct by intoxication. Robert Johnson, 26, of Vermilion, was charged with open container and littering from a motor vehicle.

• Aug. 16 at 2:11 a.m.: Craig Ripley, 25, of Lakewood, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving the wrong way on a one-way street.

• Aug. 16 at 2:34 p.m.: A man told police that during an argument in his girlfriend’s car, she grabbed him around the neck and left a scratch mark.

• Aug. 16 at 11:49 p.m.: Tiffany White, 27, of Lorain, was arrested on a contempt of court warrant through the Sheffield police. A passenger in her vehicle, Chazaray Sutton, 24, of Cleveland, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of heroin, and drug paraphernalia.

• Aug. 17 at 1:22 a.m.: A husband and wife called police after a domestic altercation involving their foster son. They began the eviction process on the boy.
