“Murder in 3-D” featuring “Easter Egg Mania: In Your Face” by Workshop Players Theater will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 3 and Saturday, March 4 at Cork Tree Catering, 209 South Main St., Amherst.
The conceit: The iconic 3-D film was never released due to the tragic death of legendary playwright/director Alex Chapman 20 years ago. Those who were part of the project will gather for both a discussion and celebration of the man, the movie, and the madness that surrounded those last few days.
Hopefully, the audience can help solve the 20-year-old mystery of Chapman’s untimely death. Along the way there may be some surprises and perhaps another unfortunate murder to be solved. One thing is for sure: There will be lots of fun.
