• Nov. 21 at 2:30 p.m.: An iPad was reported stolen from a vehicle on Cooper Foster Park Road.

• Nov. 21 at 5:59 p.m.: A man selling an item on Craigslist received a fraudulent check from a supposed buyer.

• Nov. 22 at 10:57 a.m.: Police intervened in an argument at Ziggy’s Bar and Grill on Park Avenue between a mother and daughter over a plot of land.

• Nov. 22 at 2:55 p.m.: Two chainsaws were reported stolen from an Autumn Drive shed.

• Nov. 22 at 4:45 p.m.: Karen Jameson, 38, of Amherst, was charged with burglary, assault, aggravated trespass, disorderly conduct by intoxication, and disturbing the peace. She was arrested after an investigation at Albright Terrace on Milan Avenue.

• Nov. 23 at 5:59 p.m.: A man said fraudulent deposits were attempted in his account while in the process of applying for a loan from Advance America.

• Nov. 23 at 3:26 p.m.: Demetrius Yancey, 30, of Lorain, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court on an original charge of disorderly conduct through the Lorain police department; he was also wanted on a child support warrant through the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office.

• Nov. 23 at 7:40 p.m.: Beatrice Berdiel, age and city of residence unreported by police, was charged with consumption in a motor vehicle, open container, and possession of paraphernalia.

• Nov. 26 at 9:13 p.m.: A man overdosed on Vicodin while at Motel 6 on Rt. 58. Life Care Ambulance EMTs were able to get the man conscious and breathing. He was taken to Mercy Regional Medical Center.

• Nov. 27 at 1:02 a.m.: William Ice, 63, of Amherst, and Christopher Ice, 35, of Cleveland, were charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication. They were arrested after an investigation into a fight at the Amherst Eagles on Milan Avenue.

• Nov. 27 at 3:17 a.m.: Derrick Doan, 31, of Battle Creek, Mich., was served a warrant for failure to appear in court on traffic charges.

• Nov. 27 at 9:22 a.m.: Police responded to an apparent overdose at a Cooper Foster Park Road home. They attempted to give the victim naloxone, which had no effect. The man was pronounced dead.

• Nov. 27 at 10:11 p.m.: David Solomon, 47, of Amherst, was charged with domestic violence and aggravated menacing. He is accused of punching his girlfriend in the face over an argument.
