FAIR: All in a day’s work for reporter

Who’s that? It’s reporter Jonathan Delozier hard at work mucking out a stall for the very first time in the Junior Fair beef barn. Consider it a bit of a hazing — this has been Jon’s very first time at the Lorain County Fair despite growing up nearby and graduating from Southview High School in Lorain. “It makes me respect the work of people who do it the entire day even more,” he laughed after putting in a good 60 seconds of back-breaking manure-shoveling. He “volunteered for doody” at the stall of Kayler Frey, 14, of Wakeman, where cows Terrance, Shaggy, Scooby, and Rowdy were camped out.
