• July 3 at 10:38 a.m.: A 60-inch television was reported stolen from Cleveland Avenue.

• July 3 at 10:19 p.m.: Jeffrey Posakiwsky, 27, of Valley View, was charged with tampering with evidence, possession of ecstacy, and possession of marijuana.

• July 4 at 11 a.m.: A boat reported as stolen in Michigan was found on Falling Water Creek. Police determined it was a dispute over a purchase and is a civil matter.

• July 4 at 12:50 p.m.: A theft from a vehicle was reported on Quarry Lakes Drive.

• July 5 at 1:16 a.m.: Leon Michael, 27, of Cleveland, was arrested on active warrants through Lorain, Sheffield, and the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office.

• July 5 at 2:17 a.m.: Michael Perkovich, 36, of Lorain, was arrested on a warrant through the Strongsville police. He was also charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and weaving.

• July 6 at 1:30 a.m.: After a foot chase, Steven Hite, 23, of Vermilion, was charged with theft, resisting arrest, obstructing official business, vehicle trespass, disturbing the peace, and criminal trespass. Police said he is suspected of entering a vehicle on Terra Lane.

• July 6 at 6:20 p.m.: Officers responded to a domestic complaint at Speedway gas station on Rt. 58 and learned the argument was over stored furniture. John Gulas Jr., 45, of Vermilion, fled on foot before officers arrived. Police said there was a pre-existing Amherst warrant for his arrest.

• July 6 at 7:14 p.m.: A man reported his truck’s passenger side window was broken.

• July 7 at 11:43 p.m.: David Ingalls, 21, and Matthew Ingalls, 19, of Amherst, were charged with domestic violence. John Ingalls, 45, of Amherst, was charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication, misconduct at emergency, obstructing official business, disturbing the peace, and open container.
