The final passenger car is leaving Nordson Depot on its way to restoration. Adam Matthews of the Lake Shore Railway Association, which operates the Lorain & West Virginia Railway, said the last car was positioned Sunday for transport to the Ohio Locomotives Works, which will likely happen today. The caboose and another C&O coach were moved earlier this year. The coach was built by Pullman for the Chesapeake & Ohio Railway in 1950 and is named City of Waynesboro #2612 10-Roomette/6-Double Bedroom Sleeper Car. It was used system wide, retired in 1971, and purchased by Evan Nord for display at the Amherst Depot. The cars have been donated to the Lake Shore Railway Association.
