Physician Christina Zarate Kolp is the newest addition at University Hospitals Amherst Primary Care on Cleveland Street.
A 4,600-square-foot renovation this summer expanded UH’s family practice offerings at the Amherst health center, with doctor Gary Dinger moving his offices to the building in July.
Remodeling targeted the facility’s northeastern side, which had been empty for several years. In the past had been used for reconstructive joint surgeries and obstetrics.
Kolp is board-certified in family medicine and offers preventative, well-patient and urgent care appointments to patients of all ages.
She is trained in chronic disease management for conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and COPD/asthma, and is qualified to treat behavioral health issues including depression and anxiety.
Kolp has particular interests in pediatrics, adolescent, and women’s health.
A graduate of the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, she completed her residency at the Cleveland Clinic. She is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
