POLICE REPORTS


• Aug. 13 at 10:17 p.m.: Donna Ramos, 38, of Amherst, was arrested on a warrant through the Brooklyn police department for failure to appear in court. The original charge was disorderly conduct.

• Aug. 14 at 3:30 p.m.: Officers responded to an assault complaint on South Main Street.

• Aug. 14 at 8:14 p.m.: Jakira Leaton, 26, of Lorain, was arrested on a warrant through the North Ridgeville police department for failure to appear in court on traffic charges. She was also charged with possession of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, marijuana, open container, and wrongful entrustment.

• Aug. 14 at 10:13 p.m.: Danzell Rudolph, 26, of Cuyahoga Falls, turned himself in on a contempt of court warrant through the Amherst police department. The original charge was driving under suspension.

• Aug. 15 at 2:53 a.m.: A woman who talked about ending her life was taken to Mercy Health Lorain Hospital for evaluation.

• Aug. 16 at 2:19 a.m.: A woman left Speedway on Rt. 58 without paying for two six-packs of alcohol.

• Aug. 16 at 2:53 a.m.: A woman texted a friend saying she would harm herself. Officers went to the woman’s home, where she had taken an unknown number of sleeping pills. She was taken to Mercy Health Lorain Hospital.

• Aug. 17 at 7:19 p.m.: Nichole Morris, 26, of Lorain, was arrested on a warrant through the Lorain police department on an original charge of theft.

• Aug. 18 at 11:15 p.m.: Gregory Reavis, 43, of Amherst, was charged with assault following an alleged incident at The Pour House on Park Avenue.

• Aug. 19 at 10:01 a.m.: William Martens, 36, of Avon Lake, was arrested on a warrant through the Amherst police department for failure to appear in court. The original charge was obstructing official business.
