Preseason pressure on as opener vs. Kenston nears

Practicing in near-100-degree heat means frequent breaks for water. But the Comets are looking in good form this preseason, aspiring to improve on their 0-10 record from 2015. After a scrimmage Saturday against Lorain, Amherst is eyeing their on-the-road opener Aug. 26 at Kentson, which is almost exactly an hour away from Steele High School.
