The visiting Olmsted Falls Bulldogs held the advantage every step of the way Friday, building on a 15-point run on the road to a 67-56 varsity win in Southwestern Conference action. Amherst team leader Marshall Busey was out for the game and a lack of control under the basket put the Comets in a tough spot. Slammed by a horrid third quarter, the Amherst boys trailed by six heading into the final period and simply couldn’t find the space to make a comeback. The junior varsity Comets did post a 49-43 win even as the freshmen fell 50-29 to the Bulldogs.
