Donna Bruner, president of the American Legion Post 118 Ladies Auxiliary, and Riley Zaranko of the junior auxiliary, visit U.S. Army veteran Harry Hobson in a local nursing home to provide him with a wheelchair caddie. Hobson was moved and thankful for the gift and appreciative of the recognition and thanks he received for his service and sacrifice. Members of the Ladies Auxiliary have been designing and sewing caddies, which make it easier for veterans to carry belongings on their wheelchairs. Anyone who knows of a veteran or an immediate family member of a veteran who would benefit from a wheelchair caddie can contact Bruner at 440-537-1624.
