Residents gained plenty of hands-on experience June 24 of what it’s like to be an emergency responder at “Meet the Trucks,” a Sprenger Health Care-sponsored event at Amherst Manor Retirement Community. Police, fire, and ambulance crews allowed attendees to reach out and touch equipment usually off limits to the public, and threw in additional fun courtesy of a bounce house, face painting, and snow cones.
