Staff Report

Authors On Call, a group of six well-known northern Ohio authors and artists, will hold an open-to-the-public meeting from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 20 at Heritage Presbyterian Church in Amherst.

The group includes sports writer Dan Coughlin of Fox 8, Lake Erie islands mystery and adventure writer Bob Adamov, longtime travel guru Neil Zurcher of “One Tank Trips” fame, radio-television historians Mike and Janice Olszewski, and “Big Chuck” Schodowski of “The Big Chuck and Little John Show” on Fox 8.

“Big Chuck” is substituting for Authors On Call member Jill Jordan Burke, songwriter and country Western singer, who has a concert in Akron on this date.

All the writers will give short presentations about their books. They will be available to chat and sign their books throughout the evening.

Also featured will be Matt and Leah Rafferty, who host a podcast called “The Author Inside You” on which they interview authors from around the world about how they got into writing and what was involved in getting their books published.

This will be the only Authors on Call joint appearance this year in Lorain County. Leaders of clubs, organizations, churches, and civic groups are invited to attend and consider scheduling appearances by the speakers.

Heritage Presbyterian Church is located at 515 North Leavitt Rd.
