POLICE REPORTS


• July 28 at 2:28 p.m.: Enterprise on Rt. 58 reported a Volkswagon Passat stolen. The vehicle was rented and never returned.

• July 28 at 6:08 p.m.: A woman who filed a harassment complaint against an ex-roommate told police she had thoughts of harming herself. She was taken to University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center for treatment.

• July 29 at 8:19 a.m.: An 88-year-old Weaver Drive woman said her 57-year-old husband stole her jewelry.

• July 29 at 9:54 p.m.: Police intervened in a verbal dispute on Tarry Lane involving the parents of an infant.

• July 30 at 2:31 p.m.: A bicycle was reported stolen from the Amherst Public Library.

• July 31 at 12:48 a.m.: Police responded to a fight at Taco Bell on Rt. 58 involving people in two vehicles. A Cadillac was found and stopped, with a passenger in need of medical attention. The driver said five men assaulted the passenger but was unable to give any description of the attackers.

• July 31 at 1:45 a.m.: Tyrell Bailey, age and residence unlisted, was arrested on a warrant for domestic violence through the Lorain police.

• July 31 at 11:37 a.m.: A live animal trap was reported stolen from a resident’s yard. A police report omitted the address.

• July 31 at 2:14 p.m.: Angel Santiago, 53, of Lorain, was charged with theft, possession of criminal tools, and criminal damaging. He is accused of stealing from Target.

• Aug. 1 at 11:22 a.m.: Tirell Allen, 26, of Lorain, was charged with driving under suspension, possession of marijuana, and running a stop sign on Terra Lane.

• Aug. 1 at 3:15 p.m.: Alexandria Quickle, 21, of Amherst, was charged with telecommunications harassment.

• Aug. 1 at 11:22 p.m.: Dylan Fulesi, 20, of Elyria, was charged with underage drinking and disorderly conduct by intoxication. He was arrested in the area of Tenney Avenue and South Main Street.

• Aug. 2 at 12:36 a.m.: Kevin Goers, 19, of Elyria, was charged with underage consumption of alcohol while in the area of Spring Street and Park Avenue.

• Aug. 2 at 2:31 a.m.: Jermaine Kirkendoll, 26, of Lorain, was charged with assault on a police officer, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, and several traffic infractions. During a traffic stop, he allegedly kicked a police cruiser door, causing it to hit an officer.

• Aug. 2 at 8:18 p.m.: Police are investigating a possible breaking and entering on North Ridge Road.

• Aug. 3 at 12:54 a.m.: A missing 17-year-old Lorain boy was found during a traffic stop. He was cited with curfew violation.

• Aug. 3 at 12:14 a.m.: While investigating a road rage complaint, police charged Aaron Worthy, 22, of Garfield Heights, with driving under suspension.

• Aug. 3 at 11:40 a.m.: A burglary was reported on Jonathan Street. Three tools worth $650 were missing.

• Aug. 3 at 5:04 p.m.: Amanda Combs was served with a no-bond bench warrant for failing to appear on original charges of theft and criminal tools. She was served at the Lorain County Jail, where she was incarcerated on unrelated charges.

• Aug. 3 at 7:07 p.m.: Estephana Pena, 32, of Lorain, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.

• Aug. 3 at 7:40 p.m.: A woman said she was assaulted by a girl the previous night while at a party on North Quarry Road.

• Aug. 3 at 9:28 p.m.: Police responded to a verbal dispute on Caesar’s Circle.

• Aug. 4 at 11:26 a.m.: A woman said her purse was stolen while she was at Great Lakes Church.

• Aug. 4 at 1:22 p.m.: Tools were reported stolen from a truck parked in the city lot on Maple Street. A padlock was cut to gain entrance to the vehicle.

• Aug. 4 at 4:26 p.m.: Police investigated a report that an elderly man threatened his adult son on Linn Road. The man, who is being treated for dimentia, was taken to Mercy Regional Medical Center for an evaluation.

• Aug. 4 at 4:43 p.m.: A caller advised a man was lying next to a Pontiac stopped in the middle of the road in the area of Park Avenue and Henry Street, possibly intoxicated or having mental issues. The man was taken to Mercy Regional Medical Center for evaluation.

• Aug. 4 at 5:17 p.m.: A domestic violence incident was investigated on Lincoln Street. An additional internal department domestic violence form was filed, according to police.

• Aug. 5 at 1:57 a.m.: Eugene Norris, 56, of Euclid, was arrested on a warrant for a probation violation through the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office.

• Aug. 5 at 10:26 a.m.: Ricky Carter, 54, of Lorain, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on original charges of disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct by intoxication.

• Aug. 5 at 1:46 p.m.: Two suspects allegedly stole items from Pat Catan’s on Cooper Foster Park Road. Video images of the suspects and their vehicles were obtained.

• Aug. 5 at 3:40 p.m.: A cell phone was reported stolen while a woman was shopping at Aldi on Kresge Drive.

• Aug. 5 at 3:58 p.m.: Michael Bargmann, 49, of Sandusky, was charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication. He was seen walking on the highway near routes 2 and 58.

• Aug. 5 at 6:22 p.m.: A 48-year-old Elyria woman told she wanted to go to a rehabilitation center because someone was injecting her with narcotics. She was taken to Mercy Regional Medical Center for mental evaluation.

• Aug. 5 at 7:45 p.m.: Samantha Hutchinson, 27, of Lorain, was charged with petty theft after Target security called police to report a shoplifter.

• Aug. 6 at 1:53 p.m.: Eric Smith, 18, of Lorain, was arrested on a bench warrant for failure to appear on original charges of criminal tools and petty theft through the Amherst police.

• Aug. 6 at 7 p.m.: Arlisa Hogue, 37, of Lorain, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft through the Elyria police.

• Aug. 7 at 8:58 a.m.: Police investigated a verbal dispute on Woodbridge Court over alleged infidelity.
