POLICE REPORTS


• Nov. 10, time and location undisclosed by police: A picture of a nude underage girl was reported on a social media site. Several juveniles were advised the creation, possession, and distribution of similar pictures is a criminal offense. Parents were also apprised of the incident.

• Nov. 15 at 12:49 a.m.: Elvin Jackson, 63, of Akron, was arrested on a warrant for child support through the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office.

• Nov. 15 at 2 p.m.: An underage girl circulated lewd photos of herself on social media, according to an investigation at Amherst Steele High School. Juveniles involved were warned any similar actions in the future would be addressed with criminal charges.

• Nov. 15 at 11:44 p.m.: Scott Siters, 54, of Amherst, was charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication, disturbing the peace, possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

• Nov. 17 at 7:30 a.m.: A cell phone was reported stolen at Amherst Steele High School.

• Nov. 18 at 2:58 a.m.: A 46-year-old Westlake man was taken for mental evaluation after allegedly driving the wrong way on Rt. 2. Drunk driving and other related charges are being weighed, according to a police report.

• Nov. 18 at 8:36 p.m.: A woman said she watched her toddler son and another child being pushed by an Amherst daycare worker. A police report omitted information about where the alleged incident took place.

• Nov. 19 at 1:40 a.m.: Erica Schawb, 32, of Amherst, was charged with domestic violence.

• Nov. 19 at 11:49 p.m.: Dannielle Acevedo, 35, of Lorain, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court on an original charged of disorderly conduct.

• Nov. 20 at 2:22 a.m.: Matthew Duncan, 24, of Amherst, was arrested on a warrant for child support through the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office.

• Nov. 21 at 12:26 a.m.: Dakota Green, 20, of Lorain, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
