POLICE REPORTS


• Nov. 1 at 1:07 a.m.: Nyia Phillips-Grantham, 22, of Oberlin, was served a warrant for two counts of obstructing official business and another warrant on a charge of theft.

• Nov. 2 at 7:13 p.m.: Officers stopped a 78-year-old Amherst woman who they saw driving erratically, stopping in the road, and swaying back and forth behind the wheel. There were no signs of intoxication. Police decided not to allow the woman to drive home and gave her a ride.

• Nov. 3 at 10:09 p.m.: Robert Hennes, 18, of Amherst, was charged with drug abuse instruments and 10 counts of drug paraphernalia. Police said they found him unresponsive due to a narcotics overdose at a Sipple Avenue home and gave him naloxone. More charges are expected, according to police.

• Nov. 4 at 8:25 p.m.: Steven Sturtevant, 43, of Amherst, was charged with receiving stolen property and theft by deception. A police report said he is suspected of trying several times to return phone charges, believed to be stolen, to Friendship Gas Station on Cooper Foster Park Road.

• Nov. 5 at 10:57 a.m.: Maciah Harouny, 21, of Sheffield Lake, was arrested on two traffic warrants through the Sheffield Lake and Rocky River police departments.

• Nov. 6 at 12:35 a.m.: Terry Welser, 54, of Lorain, was charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication and disorderly conduct persisting. Police said he caused a disturbance inside the University Hospital Amherst emergency room.

• Nov. 6 at 9:19 p.m.: Angela Hendershot, age and city of residence undisclosed by police, was arrested on a warrant through Oberlin Municipal Court for failure to appear. The original charges were disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct.

• Nov. 7 at 1:17 a.m.: Antonio Martinez Jr., 23, of Lorain, was arrested on a warrant through the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office.

• Nov. 7 at 5:19 p.m.: Michael Hargrove, 37, of Dayton, was served a warrant through Oberlin Municipal Court for contempt of court on original charges of assault, criminal damaging, disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, and aggravated trespass.

• Nov. 7 at 5:19 p.m.: Allesa Sellers, 31, of South Amherst, was served a warrant through Oberlin Municipal Court for contempt of court.

• Nov. 8 at 4:40 p.m.: A person told police someone had hacked into his or her eBay account and ordered two iPhones.

• Nov. 8 at 5:10 p.m.: Police responded to a telecommunications harassment complaint at Subway on Kresge Drive.

• Nov. 9 at 8:46 a.m.: Tito Marrero, 43, of Cleveland, was arrested on a warrant for a parole violation.

• Nov. 9 at 3:30 p.m.: Antwan Taylor, 23, of Lorain, was arrested on a warrant through Oberlin Municipal Court for contempt of court on original traffic charges.

• Nov. 10 at 4:08 p.m.: Austin Toney, 19, of LaGrange, was charged with telecommunications harassment.

• Nov. 11 at 12:15 a.m.: Theresa Vanwinkle, 51, of Lorain, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and no license plate light.

• Nov. 12 at 12:23 p.m.: A burglary complaint was filed on Hickory Hollow Court.
