• Sept. 12 at 5:02 p.m.: A girl on a school bus from Amherst Junior High to Nord Middle School said she was touched inappropriately by a male student.

• Sept. 12 at 5:39 p.m.: Amherst police located an 18-year-old woman reported missing from Los Alamos, N.M. The woman was in no danger but said she’d been taken to New York City under false pretenses. She told police she left New York with an Amherst resident who had been there for the week. The task force on human trafficking was contacted to follow up.

• Sept. 12 at 7:25 p.m.: A breaking and entering was reported on Hamilton Street. Several bedroom drawers had been gone through.

• Sept. 12 at 7:58 p.m.: A woman said she had received unwanted and threatening text messages from a woman who used to be her best friend.

• Sept. 13 at 10:14 a.m.: Alexandra Melendez, age and city of residence undisclosed by police, was arrested on a warrant through the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office for contempt of court on an original charge of child endangering.

• Sept. 14, time undisclosed by police: An employee at Giant Eagle told police he is being harassed by another employee’s boyfriend via social media.

• Sept. 15 at 3:30 p.m.: Alfred Williams Jr., 31, of Lorain, was charged with drug trafficking, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension, and a turn signal violation.

• Sept. 16 at 12:50 a.m.: Brenda Chisholm, 54, of Lorain, was arrested on warrants through Lorain County 911 and Garfield Heights, both for contempt of court.

• Sept. 19 at 1:44 a.m.: A man threatened to harm himself at a North Quarry Road home but left before police arrived.

• Sept. 20 at 12:12 a.m.: Hilary Cashell, 22, of Amherst, was arrested on a warrant through Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear in court on a traffic charge.
