• July 12 at 10:29 a.m.: Police responded to a fight in progress in the parking lot of Denny’s on Rt. 58. They found it was a verbal dispute between three males over personal property.

• July 12 at 6:19 p.m.: Police were called for a complaint that court-ordered family visitation guidelines were violated at Amherst Manor.

• July 12 at 7 p.m.: Tyler Young, 21, of Elyria, was charged with aggravated menacing, criminal tools, criminal damaging, disturbing the peace, and criminal trespass. He was arrested after an incident on Jackson Street.

• July 12 at 10:36 p.m.: A 13-year-old child was charged with domestic violence and unruliness following an incident on Hazel Street.

• July 13 at 5:16 p.m.: A man reported 19 fraudulent charges on his bank account totaling $934.

• July 13 at 8:23 p.m.: Ashley Linn, 29, of Amherst, was charged with theft and criminal tools after police responded to Target.

• July 14 at 5:32 a.m.: Salvador Rodriguez, 43, of Lorain, was arrested on an Amherst police warrant for failure to appear in court on charges of driving under suspension and fictitious plates.

• July 14 at 2 p.m.: A shoplifting complaint was filed at Dollar General on Cooper Foster Park Road.

• July 14 at 10:38 p.m.: A missing child from Michigan was found at Amherst Hospital and reunited with her father.

• July 15 at 2:23 p.m.: Mallory Smith, 29, of Lorain, was charged with possession of drugs, drug abuse instruments, drug paraphernalia, and no operator’s license.

• July 15 at 3:33 p.m.: A suicidal man ran from Amherst Hospital but was found by police. He was taken to Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain.

• July 15 at 4:47 p.m.: Deondra Johnson, 27, of Lorain, was charged with theft from Target.

• July 16 at 2:25 p.m.: Kristin Bennett, 34, of Cleveland, was arrested on an Amherst police warrant for failure to appear in court on a theft charge.

• July 18 at 1:26 p.m.: A Lorain woman reported her tires were punctured by objects sticking out of the roadway on Forest Street.

• July 19 at 11:25 p.m.: Nickolas Ruiz was arrested on an Amherst police warrant for failure to appear in court on charges of petty theft and possession of drug abuse instruments.
