Scholar Scoreboard for March 10

The University of Findlay has awarded merit scholarships and endowed scholarships for the 2009-10 academic year.

The following students from Amherst have been awarded scholarships: AMANDA CHASZAR, art management major, The University of Findlay Award; MELISSA COOK, animal science major, The University of Findlay Award, VanSweringen Memorial Scholarship; and ANDREW OFFINEER, education major, The University of Findlay Award.

ADAM C. MELLEN was named to the dean's list for the fall semester at the University of Toledo where he is majoring in civil engineering. Mellen, a 2009 graduate of Amherst Steele High, is active in UT College Republicans, Active Christians Today, and FYRE (First Year Rocket Engineers). He is the son of Gordon and Susan Mellen
