Karen Pleban weds at Delaware church

On Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, Karen Michelle Pleban, originally of Amherst, and Gregory Alan Steffan, originally of Leipsic, were married at St. Mary Catholic Church, Delaware, Ohio, by Father David Schalk.

Parents of the bride are Dan and Joan Pleban and parents of the groom are Norbert and Rita Steffan. The maid of honor was Denise Pleban, the matron of honor was Jennifer Pleban and bridesmaids were Katie Schneider and Nancy Steffan.

The ring girl was Ana Pleban and the flower girl was Natalie Pleban.

The best man was Joe Pleban. Groomsmen were Kevin Lammers, Chuck Schroeder, and Ken Steffan. Musicians for the wedding included organist Muriel Byers, vocalist Tina Cooney, and guitarist Jessica Pleban.

Karen is a graduate of Marion L. Steele High School, Bowling Green State University (BSN), and Capital University (MSN). Greg is a graduate of Leipsic High School and Ohio State Technical College at Lima (business degree). Karen works at Grant Medical Center in Columbus as a certified wound, ostomy, continence nurse, and Greg works as an independent jewelry wholesale distributor throughout the United States.
