Library needs your vote Feb. 2

The Friends of the Amherst Public Library would appreciate support for the upcoming levy on Feb. 2.

The Friends group sponsors many informative and entertaining free programs for the community and is unable to use the library facilities due to lack of space. The existing community room will not accommodate the number of people who attend the programs.

The future expansion plans for the library will allow for a new large computer room which would benefit every age group. Classes as well as more individual use would be a great help to the citizens of Amherst.

An area dedicated for seniors, teens and young children will be provided as well as a meeting place for library and for the public use.

The library benefits so many people in the community that a vote for the library in February will enrich many lives.
