He doesn't deserve delays

To the editor:

Today's report from the Akron (AP) article entitled Cop Killers sentencing delayed...sentencing for the admitted killing of a police officer in Northeast Ohio. His last legal team quit saying they cannot represent him effectively.

The sentencing has been delayed for a fifth time at taxpayers' expense. Twenty-five-year-old Ashford Lamar Thompson admitting shooting and killing Joshua Miktarian of Twinsburg, Ohio. Where is the justice in our justice system? Officer Miktarian did not have five chances to bargain and plead for his life. Thompson should receive the maximum penalty.
