Clark, Bowers set Oct. 17 wedding date

Cal and Julie Clark of Amherst are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Clark, to Brian Bowers, son of Bob Bowers of Huron and Brian and Karen Stawicki of Amherst.

Amber is a 2004 graduate of Amherst Marion L. Steele High School and a 2009 graduate of Ohio State University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in human ecology, specializing in early intervention. She is currently employed as a lead preschool teacher in Columbus, Ohio.

Brian is a 2003 graduate of Amherst Marion L. Steele High School and a 2007 graduate of the Columbus State Police Academy. He is currently employed as a police officer in Plain City, Ohio.

The wedding will take place on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at the Christian Temple in Lorain.
