Players stage 'Fools' opening on Thursday
Workshop Players Theatre-in-the-Round presents the Neil Simon comedy "Fools" directed by Dave Stacko.
The plot is simple; a small town in the Ukraine has been cursed. The curse makes everyone in town a fool. A new school teacher (Shaphan David Seiders) arrives and soon must either break the curse or lose his true love (AnnMarie Steffes), who is, of course, a fool.
The cast also includes Chuck Annable, Dale Hruska, Bob Kenderes, Carol Krause, Regan Krause, Ken Milota, Diane Ralph and Bob Weir.
Performances are at 8 p.m. on Feb. 4, 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, with 3 p.m. matinees on February 7, 14, 21.
Tickets are $12 each or $10 each for groups of 15 or more, and may be reserved by calling the box office at 988-5613.
Workshop Players Theatre-in-the-Round is located at 44820 Middle Ridge Rd. in Amherst, and the mezzanine area is wheelchair accessible. Check out their website at www.workshopplayers.com.
