Players to audition for spring production of 'The Rainmaker'
Workshop Players will hold auditions for "The Rainmaker," by Richard Nash, directed by Pat Price.
Performance dates are April 15 to 18, 23 to 25, and April 30 to May 2. The audition schedule is Monday, Feb. 22 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 24 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The cast will include A "Ponderosa"-like family of a father, two grown sons, and a spinster daughter. Add to these a gruff sheriff and a shy, but proud deputy and a slick, dazzling con man.
Actors needed include two males age 50 to 70; two males age 30 to 50; one male age 20 to 40; and one female age 20 to 40. The part of Starbuck has been pre-cast.
