Kettle campaign a success

To the editor:

The Amherst/South Amherst Salvation Army service unit would like to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all groups and individuals who supported our recent Christmas/Holiday Kettle campaign. The gifts in total were generous and will be used prudently, carefully, and in a caring way.

Our all-volunteer group is made up of local residents who really care. A special thank you to Old Stone United Methodist Church, which provides the Salvation Army with an office and home.
