JVS honoring grads in military

The Lorain County Joint Vocational School plans to honor JVS graduates who are military veterans, or who are currently serving in the armed forces. Plans are underway to dedicate a Military Wall within the Lorain County JVS. The names and photographs of these men and women will be placed on the wall.

Anyone wishing to be included on the Military Wall can do so by e-mailing or sending a photograph, along with the following information, to the Lorain County JVS. Family members can send information on behalf of their loved ones, living or deceased.

Information requested includes the military person's name, address, phone number, and e-mail address (if applicable), service branch and dates, JVS graduation year, and the name of the person submitting information and their relationship to the graduate.

Include any information that may be helpful including military rank, special awards, or contact information for family members. Photographs that are mailed to the JVS will be returned to the sender after copies are made.
