Global students sought by Steele High School
The Southwest Conference has undertaken a program to recognize students who possess a global perspective in various aspects of their lives.
Steele High School has formed a Global Awareness Committee and encourages students who have a global perspective to apply for recognition for their cultural awareness.
Students who have traveled abroad, communicate with friends or relatives in other countries or listen to international varieties of music, to name just a few criteria, are invited to apply for "The Global Student Award" by April 1.
For more information check out the school's website or pick up an application in the guidance office or from one of the following teachers: Mrs. Gorodea, Mrs. Kasnyik, Mrs. Layport, Miss Wilson or Mr. Wolshuck.
Applications must be submitted by April 1.
